The opening and closing component of the 2507 duplex steel gate valve is the gate, and the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. When the gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed solely by the pressure of the medium, that is, the sealing surface of the gate is pressed against the valve seat on the other side by the pressure of the medium to ensure the sealing of the sealing surface. Most gate valves use forced sealing, which means that when the valve is closed, it relies on external force to forcefully press the gate plate against the valve seat to ensure the sealing performance of the sealing surface.

Installation precautions and key points for 2507 duplex steel gate valve:
1. Handwheels, handles, and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting and collisions are strictly prohibited.
2. It should be installed vertically (i.e. the valve stem is in a vertical position and the handwheel is at the top).
3. Before opening a gate valve with a bypass valve, the bypass valve should be opened first (to balance the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet and reduce the opening force).
4. Install the gate valve with transmission mechanism according to the instructions in the product manual.
5. If the valve is frequently opened and closed, lubricate it at least once a month.
6. The installation position, height, and import/export direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.
7. All types of manual valves installed on insulated pipelines must not have handles facing downwards.
8. Install the gate valve with transmission mechanism according to the instructions in the product manual.
